Automated Optical Inspection - AOI

JJS operate state-of the-art AOI systems for high-speed, accurate and consistent inspection of SMT assemblies. The AOI systems are used for the inspection of mounted PCBs after the soldering process.

This system guarantees the highest performance parameters, with regard to selectable inspection configuration and also high fault detection at a minimal false call rate. The system is enabled by flexible illumination, modular camera configuration, and powerful OCR functions. The automated optical inspection systems provide extraordinary image quality, telecentric lens and user-friendly debug tools that result in minimised debug times.

Typically performing several thousand component and solder joint inspections in less than a minute, the JJS AOI systems use high resolution optics to inspect even the smallest of components, providing ‘real time’ feedback to the production line and ensuring optimal manufacturing integrity.
